Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you agree to the following terms of service:

Requesting a commission:✧ Contact me on any of my socials or email for availability, inquiries and further details.✧ Take your time to best describe your idea for the illustration; at this stage nothing is set in stone, so we should make certain that we don't miss any important details.Provide as many references and information about your scene and character(s) as you can (e.g. images of poses, previous artworks of the character, thematic scenes to set up the mood).Sketching stage:✧ Once we’ve gone over the details of how the illustration should look like, I will be proposing a sketch that should lay out the foundation of the final illustration.✧ Should you wish, you may request a round of revisions to change various elements of the sketch, such as details on the outfit, hair, facial features, etc.✧ After you agree to the proposed sketch and discuss the price of the commission, the illustration will proceed to the painting (rendering) stage.Painting stage:✧ During the painting stage, the illustration will be flashed out with details, colors and light.✧ I will prefer to work alongside you, send updates, request feedback, and ask for clarifications where something is unclear to me.✧ At this stage, no revisions will be allowed apart from minor changes like, for example, a detail on a particular item, additional hair strands, changes to colors or lightning on certain areas.This is not to say that more complex changes cannot be made based on your feedback and suggestions, merely that I cannot guarantee them. Making big changes at this point might prove a tad difficult.✧ Once the illustration is finished, further revisions may be accommodated for an additional fee.


Deadlines & delivery:✧ Completing a commission can take me from a week to a couple of months, depending on the complexity of the illustration.✧ I usually try to provide an ETA from the moment I have an understanding of the commission’s scope, although such an ETA can be prolonged by various factors (e.g. personal or technical issues, the complexity of the revisions, major additions to the illustration). I will always try to be as candid as possible about any potential delays.✧ The finished, high resolution illustration will be delivered to you as a jpg. file via a Google Drive link once the full price of the commission is paid. While I’m not planning on deleting any commission, the link will only be available for 30 days, so make sure to download the illustration on a personal device within that period of time! Should you require the original file after the link has expired, feel free to DM me for any assistance.


Pricing & payment:✧ Upfront payment is required after you agree with the proposed sketch and the final price of the commission.The payment can be made in full or split in two installments, meaning a deposit of 50% of the final price before the start of the painting stage, then the other 50% before the delivery of the finished illustration.✧ The prices displayed on the Commission Info page are indicative samples, meaning that the final price of each commission may vary depending on the complexity of the illustration. For example, complex features (e.g. action poses, pets, intricate weapons & armor, scales, wings, additional limbs), may increase the final price of the commission.✧ All payments are to be made via PayPal or Ko-fi.


Copyrights:✧ I retain full ownership of the copyright for all versions of the illustration. Though, I will limit my use of them for self-promotion and personal use. I can delay posting tthem under special circumstances (gifts, NDA, etc.)✧ You may use the finished illustration for personal and commercial purposes as long as you agree and abide to the following terms:
- you may not sell, modify, sublicense or create derivative works from any version of the illustration, nor use it to train any generative artificial intelligence, unless explicitly authorized;
- you may not use the illustration in any unlawful, defamatory, or infringing manner;


Refunds:✧ I reserve the right to decline a commission request that I am not comfortable with.✧ I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any given time for personal reasons, although I will try to avoid the scenario to the best of my ability. If such cancellation occurs, I will refund your payment and offer you the same rights to the latest version of Illustration as if it were a finished Illustration.✧ Unless otherwise agreed upon, you may not be eligible for a refund if you decide to cancel the commission for any or no reason. By commissioning me, you agree that you are not only paying for the finished Illustration, but also for the time and work involved in developing all the versions leading to the final product.✧ I am committed to focusing on a single commission at a time. Once agreed upon our collaboration, please make sure to regularly check our DMs, at least once in a day or two, to provide feedback on the updates or address any queries. If you are not answering for more than 48 hours, I may proceed with another commission, while postponing yours until the new one is complete. Should there be no communication from your side for more than 30 days, we shall automatically consider that you have cancelled your commission.
